Produced in the geographical area of Mysore, the production of these luxurious silk fabrics has stayed true to its origins. The Mysore silk weaving factory is one of the oldest and historical silk manufacturing units in the country. It was started in the year 1912 by the Maharaja of Mysore and the fabrics made out of the regional silk were termed as “Mysore Silk”.
